The Everest view trip offers excellent views of Mt. Everest and the main peaks of the Khumbu without going to extreme altitudes. The trek begins from Lukla after short and scenic fly from capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. The adventure begins as we land at its tiny runway. We spend two days trekking through the homelands of the Sherpa people, among their typical villages, cultures and Buddhist monasteries, Dudh Koshi river .Then we enter Namche Bazaar, the principle town of the area and the Sherpa 'capital.' After a day of acclimatization we explore the traditional Sherpa villages of Kunde and Khumjung Monastery, Yeti skull and also the one hour walk up to the Everest Hotel (3850m./12705ft.) above Namche for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. We then trek to Thyangboche - the site of Nepal's most sacred Buddhist monastery. The view from this ridge above the Dudh Kosi River is possibly the most beautiful with Mt. Everest looming over the Lhotse Ridge and Ama Dablam towering above the monastery. We swing back to Namche and Lukla to end the trek with a flight back to Kathmandu.
This trek offers more of everything packed into short eventful holidays- more mountain views, more culture, more nature, more hospitality, more surprises, more, more.

The trail contours around the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Kosi. Now we get our first really good views of the great peaks-Khumbu, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam including Everest. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, we descend steeply to a bridge over the river at Phunki Tenga. The village is an excellent lunch spot, and here we can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. Although tiring, the hike up the zigzag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche(3850m./12705ft.) is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. We stay near the monastery with Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam framed in the doorway of our lodge. It takes 5 hours walking from Namche to Tyangboche then stay overnight there at lodge on FB basis.
Day 6:Â Tyabgboche- Pangboche- Phortse
It is a 5/6 hour trek from Tengboche to Phortse. The trail leads past the tiny village of Devuche, crosses the Imja Khola and, after passing beautifully carved mani stones and a few chortens, we reach Pangboche. After lunch, The trail to Phortse gradually rises above the Imja Khola and the views to the west are spectacular. As you gain elevation, you see in the distance the Tangboche monastery sitting high on hill. Keep an eye open for sightings of musk deer along the way. We arrive at Phortse and stay overnight at lodge on FB basis.
Day 7: Tyangboche- Namche Bazzar-Manju
Our trek takes us downhill from Phortse to the Dudh Kosi river. We cross the river and make our way through Phortse Thanga and from there, after many steep switchbacks uphill, to Mong. Again, the views from this elevation are outstanding as you look down the valleys to the west and admire the surrounding peaks. We descend and pass through Kenjoma on our way to Namche Bazzar The trail continue to walk steep downhill to Manju(2850m./9405ft.) then stay there overnight at lodge on FB basis after walking 6 hours from Tyangboche..
