Jomsom Trekking

Jomsom Trekking is situated on north of Pokhara, Nepal's stunning diversity appears at its finest. It's also among the tamest areas, with excellent lodges lining the main routes. The scenery and culture are top-notch, and you can avoid the peak-season crush and still get fine weather and views. The views of the mountains are spectacular, and the route actually crosses to the other side of the main Himalayan range for some curious views of the northern flanks.

You will descend further down into the deepest gorge in the world on the Kali Gandeki River, all the way to Tatopani and its natural hot springs, where you can relax with a bathe in one of them. An early morning hike will lead you to Poon Hill (3,210m/10593ft) to see the most wonderful sunrise on earth, lighting up the picture-perfect Annapurna range. The trail leads you to another gorgeous site of Annapurna through beautiful walk in rhododendron forest. It's important to match your fitness level. Find what you think will suit you best in the tables below:

Easy trekking by Himalayan standards is generally up to 2800m. There are plenty of ups and downs on well-maintained trails. This type of trip is best suited for those who lead a reasonably active life. The trek takes about 3 to 7 days, walking about 4 to 5 hours a day.

this involves longer treks (eight to fifteen days) on maintained trails. This type of trek includes day excursions to higher elevations, for which it's advisable to have some previous hill- walking experience. On these treks, we generally achieve an altitude between 1100 m to 3200 m.

these treks must be fully supported. We climb to altitudes between 3200 and 5000m. and there are overnight stays at altitudes above 4000m. For this trek, trekkers should be fit and enthusiastic hill walkers prepared to tackle difficult terrain in remote areas.

Very strenuous

this trek is best described as Alpine, and suitable is suitable for those in excellent health, capable of carrying a backpack, when required. The trek covers very remote areas, traveling over snow-covered passes at altitudes of up to 6500m. You will need to axes and crampons. No strenuous trek should be undertaken without medical clearance.

Sue Atkinson

Great trek and excellent weather ! It is good that the itinerary is flexible to put in with both conditions as well client abilities or wishes. Due to being off season there were not many people found so it was quiet.  Great memories!

Thomas Fisher Sedona Arizona

As an American who has trekked and climbed often in the Himalayas nothing has compared to the service, kindness, professionalism and caring that I have always received from Tej and his company on many of my trips to Nepal.

You will find many companies offerring a similar package---- but the quality of what Tej offers has always made me return each time to use his services. Over the years, I have referred many of my friends to connect with Tej and they have always called me afterwards expressing their thanks and gratitude.

I wish all of those of you who choose to connect with Tej and his company to have the trip of a lifetime. I can say---- YOU WILL NEVER FORGET IT.
